Pre-Conference Workshops - 29th June
Topic: Socioscientific issues (SSI)
Interested in the debates on approaches to socioscientific issues in school science? Then please participate in the pre-conference meeting of resarchers exploring this exciting domain.
Topic: Slowmation
Slowmation (abbreviated from “Slow Animation”) is a simplified way for preservice teachers to make their own stop-motion animation to explain science concepts, which students find engaging and challenging. The one day workshop will address how to implement Slowmation in science courses at all levels - early childhood, primary and secondary. You can implement Slowmation in a 1-2 hour class which then enables preservice teachers to create their own using their mobile phones and free software.
