Call for Papers



ASERA 2011: 29th June – 2nd July

 

Abstract submission: If you wish to present a paper at this conference you need to submit only the abstract, of up to 200 words. You are invited to submit abstracts relevant to science education research. The abstract will be refereed. You will also need to submit registration and payment by the due date.

 

Please note that abstracts will only be included in the conference program if registration and payment have been received by 21st May, 2011.

 

Session details: Sessions will be allocated 40 minutes (comprising 20 minutes of presentation time and 20 minutes of questions/discussion). Please bring at least 20 copies of your paper to distribute at your session.

 

Submission limit: There is a limit to the number of papers per author. Each author is allowed a maximum of one sole author session plus one co-authored session.

 

Equipment: Presentation rooms will have a data projector and a Windows laptop with PowerPoint installed. We suggest you bring your PowerPoint presentation on a USB drive. For other hardware and software needs please bring your own laptop. If you will need an overhead projector (OHP) please indicate it when you submit your abstract.

Abstract format

Please attach the abstract as an MS Word document with Arial 12 point font and single spacing with the following information:

Author information: Author name/s, Author/s affiliation, Email addresses

Abstract information: Title, significance, aim, method, results (maximum 200 words)

Equipment: Please indicate if you will need an overhead projector.

 

 

FULL REFEREED PAPERS

For international delegates who require full papers to be reviewed for funding and attendance purposes please submit your manuscript as an MS Word email attachment to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

Manuscript format

The manuscript should be no more than 5 pages, including references. It should be sent as an MS Word document with Arial 12 point font and single spacing with the following information:

Author information: author name/s, author/s affiliation, email addresses

Manuscript structure: Abstract (no longer than 200 words), Subject/Problem, Design/Procedure, Finding/Analysis, Contribution to Teaching and Learning Science, Interest to ASERA Members.

Equipment: Please indicate if you will need an overhead projector.

 

Please note that large attachments may not always send successfully, so please carefully limit the size of your attachment.
