RISE is seeking to add to the team of Associate Editors (AE) who support the editorial work of the journal. The work of AE requires a commitment of about an hour a week to distribute papers they are assigned for review and then facilitate the peer review process, as well as to review approximately 6 papers a year. AE for RISE are characterised by:
- A strong track record in science education research;
- A commitment to supporting the science education community; and,
- Significant skill in editorial and administrative work.
AE of RISE are not required to be members of the Australasian Science Education Research Association (ASERA), the organisational home for the journal. Maintaining an international array of AE with diverse science education research interests is a strength of RISE that we hope to develop even further as we expand the AE pool of expertise. We are intending to add two more AE to the existing team.
