ASERA 51 Online Conference 2020 (updated 20 April 2020)
ASERA are organising an online conference which will replace the face-to-face conference in Wollongong.
Presenters can view more information by clicking on the tab in the menu to the right.
Details will be available shortly about the online conference, but please enter the 24-26 June in your diary.
Please note that your ASERA membership must be current in order to get into the program and attend the conference. There is no additional fee to participate in the online conference.
Cancellation of ASERA 51 Conference 2020 (as of 18th March 2020).
As I'm sure everyone will be aware, there is considerable uncertainty about future plans in the face of the COVID-19 virus pandemic, and increasing shutdowns and cancellations of events.
The ASERA Board has decided that, in the circumstances, we have no choice but to cancel the face-to-face ASERA conference planned for Wollongong in June.
Registrations to date will be refunded as soon as possible.
Planning is under way to run an online conference, including some synchronous and asynchronous content and interactions, on 23-26 June, the planned conference dates. Presenters who have already submitted abstracts and had them accepted will be able to present at the online conference.
More details will be coming soon.
Enormous thanks from the Board and the membership to Wendy Nielsen, Helen Georgiou and the team at the University of Wollongong, who planned the conference and are now hard at work planning the online conference.
Join us from June 23-26, 2020 at the Novotel Wollongong, Northbeach, Wollongong and be part of a collegial science education community.
ASERA has a proud history. ASERA is one of the oldest and most highly regarded science education research associations in the world. Each year ASERA brings together science education researchers and educators to share ideas that change the nature and practices of science education.
