EXPRESSION OF INTEREST: SEEKING ASSOCIATE EDITORS TO JOIN RISE

Research in Science Education (RISE) is seeking to add to the team of Associate Editors (AE) who support the editorial work of the journal. The work of a AE requires a commitment of about an hour a week to distribute the papers they are assigned for review and facilitate the peer review process as well as to review approximately 6 papers a year.

 

An AE for RISE would be characterised by:

  • A strong track record in science education research;
  • A commitment to supporting the science education community; and
  • Significant skill in editorial and administrative work.

 

AEs of RISE are not required to be members of the Australasian Science Education Research Association (ASERA), the organisation that the journal is aligned with.  Maintaining an international array of AE with diverse science education research interests is a strength of RISE that we would be hoping to develop even further as we expand this pool of expertise. We are intending to add three more AE to the team.
