Announcing the recently published open access Special Issue of Research in Science Education (RISE), which commemorates of the life, work and influence of the late Emeritus Professor Peter Fensham AM on ASERA, and the field of Science Education.

This issue was edited by Kim Nichols, Wendy Nielsen, Richard Gunstone, Léonie Rennie, and Rebecca Cooper, and contains contributions from a number of local and international Science Education researchers.
